Trophy Winners Last Weekend, July 13 - 15, 2012

Ninth Grade BLACK 8732 Playing up 10th Grade - Runner-up Super 100 Summer Showcase.
This is their ninth trophy for the year.
They are number one in Atlanta Select in the Trophy count.

Ninth Grade GRAND Team - Champs, Metro Atlanta Tournament.
The GRAND Team was undefeated for the weekend.

Eleventh Grade BLACK Team - Runner Up Big Shots Myrtle Beach.
The team played in 5 Big Shots tournaments this season. EXPOSURE WOW. Plus they had time to play golf and to go to the beach.

Seventh Grade SILVER Team - Fourth Place YBOA Nationals.
The team was 7-2 in tournament play. We are extremely proud of these young men for representing Atlanta Select well at the national level. We are on the national map. They took a college tour on their way back home.

Eleventh Grade RED Team Runner-up Atlanta Hardwood Jam Fest.

A shout out to Coach Mason and the Mighty Eleventh Grade RED Team above. The team played in 2 tournaments last weekend, 37 miles apart, 10 games in three days. They lost the championship by one point and lost in the semi final after traveling 37 miles playing in a hot gym 2 hours after earning the trophy above. What can I say.

The Mighty Tenth Grade RED Team at the AAU Super Showcase. This team played Exposure tournaments all season and have a few more to play.

The Mighty Sixth Grade SILVER Team capturing the Sixth Place Trophy at the YBOA Nationals. Record of 5 wins and 2 losses. Congratulations.

The Mighty Ninth Grade PRIME Team at the YBOA Nationals. This team captured 7 trophies this season and playing their last tournament this weekend. What a season. Congratulations.

The Mighty Eighth Grade SILVER team also represented Atlanta Select extremely well at the YBOA Nationals. Team captured 6 trophies this season. No national picture as of yet.

Several teams are still playing and will be featured later.
But a teaser, The Mighty Ninth Grade SILVER Team is in the Elite Eight at the AAU Nationals and The Mighty Seventh Grade SILVER is going for third place at the YBOA National.
Saturday, July 14 will be a good day for both teams.

Congratulations to the Mighty Sixth and Seventh Grades SILVER Teams at the YBOA Nationals. Both teams finished first in their pool. A day off today and will resume bracket play at 8:30 AM on Thursday Morning. Congratulations.
