My First Atlanta Select Skills Development Camp

I attended my first Skills Development camp on Sunday, September 11, 2011. I am the grandson of Coach Hill and even though I am too young to join the group, you should see my skills for being two years old. My grand dad is a great teacher.

Skills Development Camp Begins This Sunday, September 11, 2011

Ages 8-12 from 2-4 PM. Ages 13-18 from 4-6 PM.

Open for boys and girls ages 8 - 18.

Camp from September 2011 -  January 2012.

Number 6 has horned his skills by atttending Atlanta Select Skills Development camp for the last two years. He helped his team to several championships last season. Go Mr. Carpenter.

Results - Atlanta Select "Back To School Summer Jam" and Tri-Cities Tournaments.

Champions - Atlanta Select 17u/18u PRIME. MVP - #11, Orenthel Jamal Gaillard.
This is the first championship trophy for this team this season. However, this team only started playing in early June. Under the leadership of Head Coach Morton the team has evolved into a mighty force and have already had two players signed for scholarships to college to play basketball. MVP Gaillard graduated from McEachern HS and is looking to move to the next level, college, also to play basketball.  He would like to play in the NBA someday. This 6'2", 183 lbs point/shooting guard can perform under pressure. In the championship game with only one second remaining and his team behind 49- 51, he stepped to the free throw line for three free throw attempts, he swooshed the net three times resulting in a game ending score of 52 - 51. What a performance under pressure. Congratulations to the Mighty PRIME team. Go Select.
