Atlanta Select teams have earned 62 trophies for the season by adding 5 this past weekend. The 28 active teams with approximately 12 teams playing each week are averaging 5 trophies per week. The goal is to earned 100 trophies by September 1, 2012. More importantly than trophies, are the developmental skills, educational accomplishments and life lessons learned by our student athletes. The goal of Atlanta Select is to successfully prepare young boys and girls, both academically and athletically, for the opportunity to pursue a degree of higher education at the college level. Played 3 games on Sunday, came up short in the championship game but a gallant effort.

The game of the day was Sunday morning at Samson Center at New Birth. Brother vs. Brother. Atlanta Select Eleventh Grade PLATINUM faced Atlanta Select Tenth Grade BLACK. A fierce battle until the end with the BLACK team edging the PLATINUM team for a place in the finals. Both teams played their hearts out and to be commended for representing Atlanta Select extremely well. Go Select!
