Coach Xavier Morton, 6'9" former Douglass High School graduate and currently a Pro-Am Star with the Panama City Dream, will lead the Mighty 4th Grade Boys RED Team. The team will be based in South DeKalb County. This is the second season for Coach Morton as an Atlanta Select. The Mighty 4th Grade Boys Team SILVER.

Coach Brian Christoper Frazier will lead the Mighty 4th Grade Boys SILVER Team. The team will serve student athletes in Douglas and surrounding counties. This is the first year for Coach Frazier as an Atlanta Select. Already, he has lead an 8th Grade team, filling in for its head coach on vacation, to a Christmas NAYBA championship with only 5 players. The Mighty 5th Grade Boys Team BLACK.

Coach O J Jolomi (not pictured) will transform his rec team to the Mighty 5th Grade Boys Team BLACK. Coach OJ has been working with these young student athletes for over a year and is ready to move to a higher competition level. He will serve communities in East Atlanta. The Mighty 6th Grade Boys Team RED.

Coach Rache'ed Damon Henley will lead the Mighty 6th Grade Boys Team RED. The team will serve South East Atlanta and surrounding communities. Coach Henley signed on as a coach with Atlanta Select last season but waited until the season to field a team. He has been attending our Fall Skills Development camp and observing potential recruits. The Mighty 5th Grade Lady Select BLACK.

Coach Kelly, along with Coach Jackson, will lead the Mighty 5th Grade Lady Select BLACK. The team will consist of 10 and 11 year old young ladies from the City of Atlanta. Coach Kelly and Coach Jackson have been with Atlanta Select for 7 years and have sent numerous young ladies to the next level. The Mighty 6th Grade Boys Team SILVER.

Coach Allen "AC" Christopher is in his seventh year with Atlanta Select. This year he continues with the team that he has had for the last 3 years. This team, The Mighty 6th Grade Boys Team SILVER, earned seven trophies last season, the greatest number by a team in the organization. He will add a few more players this season. The Mighty 6th Grade Boys Team BLACK.

Coach Edima Ufot will lead the Mighty 6th Grade Boys Team BLACK. Coach Ufot demonstrated his leadership and attention to detail when he was a player for Coach Hill and Coach Zeigler as a member of the Atlanta Celtics. He has since earned a college degree and has started to work with youth. He is recruiting players for his team and can be contacted at Atlanta Select Skills Development camp. The Mighty Seventh Grade Boys Team SILVER.

Coach Baskerville served as the Deputy CEO for Atlanta Select and coordinate the activities of the young age groups. Additionally, he is the head coach for the Mighty 7th Grade Boys SILVER Team. His success has been tremendous as he concentrate on skills development prior to letting a young athlete play. Thus, when the young athlete plays, he is ready and becomes a force to be reckon with. The Mighty Seventh Grade Boys Team RED.

Coach Delmer Jones, for the second year as an Atlanta Select, will lead the Mighty 7th Grade Boys RED Team.

The Mighty Seventh Grade Lady Select RED.

Coach McCrae, with his assistant coach Coach McCadney, will again lead the Mighty 7th Grade Lady Select RED. Coach McCrae has sent numerous young ladies to D1 and D2 colleges on athletic and academic scholarships. He believes in EXPOSURE and has taken his teams to major tournaments throughout the United States. He plans to do this again this season. The Mighty Eighth Grade Boys Team SILVER.

Coach Carpenter will lead the Mighty 8th Grade Boys Team SILVER. He has developed a dynamic team that serves primarily the Douglasville area. His team qualified for both YBOA and AAU national championship tournaments last year. His boys had an exciting time in Florida. The Mighty Eighth Grade Boys Team BLACK.

Coach Ameer Aziz will coached the Mighty 8th Grade Boys BLACK Team. After working with youth in California Coach Aziz deceided to bring his talents to Georgia. He signed on during the early Fall to work the Skills Development camp, thus, he has the opportunity to see talented student athletes that he may want to recruit for his team. The Mighty Ninth Grade Boys CLASSIC Team.

Coach David Butler will lead the Mighty Ninth Grade Boys CLASSIC team. Coach Butler has been serving as a heade coach for many years and decided to bring his expertise to the Atlanta Select. The Mighty Ninth Grade Boys PLATINUM Team.

          Coach Tahir Pyles (below), assisted by his brother La'Teef Pyles, will lead the Mighty Ninth Grade Boys PLATINUM team. All of his players from last season made their school's team indicating that their skills were improved over the Summer. His team serves metro Atlanta. The Mighty Ninth Grade Boys Team SILVER.

Coach Kenneth Powell will guide the Mighty Ninth Grade Boys SILVER team for another exciting season. His team serves metro Atlanta. The goal for this season is to showcase these young men throughout the United States as they have earned, the status as an elite team. A few slots may be open to complete his team. The Mighty Ninth Grade Boys Team PRIME.

Coach Dwayne Hall leads the Mighty 9th Grade Boys PRIME Team for the second year. His team consist of student athletes from the Dekalb and Gwinnett counties, primarily. The Mighty Ninth Grade Boys Team RED

The Mighty Ninth Grade Boys Team GRAND.

Coach Akeen White will lead the Mighty Ninth Grade Boys GRAND Team. The team will serve the greater Metro Atlanta with practices near down town Atlanta. Coach White plays an active role in mentoring young men as he works diligently with them at a local Boys and Girls club. The Mighty Ninth Grade Boys Team WHITE.

Coach Harold Franklin took a leave of absence for two years after he successfully guided a 11th grade team in 2009. Now he is back, to lead the Mighty 9th Grade Boys Team WHITE. The Mighty Ninth Grade Boys Team BLACK 8732.

Coach G. Stewart continues to have teams that excel. This year he will guide the Mighty 9th Grade Boys Team BLACK 8732. After being ranked 17th in the nation in AAU and winning the Brand Jordan tournament he is tasked to repeat and do better. We are confident that his team will. The Mighty Tenth Grade Boys Team BLACK.

Coach Richard Penny is new to Atlanta Select, however, he brings passion, dedication and years of experience working with youth. He will lead the Mighty 10th Grade Boys Team BLACK. The Mighty Tenth Grade Boys Team RED.

Coach Anthony "Tony" Burton has already declared that his team will play the "Big Shots" tour. His Mighty 10th Grade Boys Team RED will be showcased, for sure, this year. The Mighty Tenth Grade Boys Team CLASSIC.

The Vision.

In addition to being CEO of Atlanta Select, Coach Hill will continue to coach and will coach the Mighty Tenth Grade CLASSIC team this season. Coach Hill had a vision 7 years ago to have his own youth basketball organization after coaching for 13 years with the Atlanta Celtics. He, along with Coach Z, formulated  a plan to have only 3 teams in the new organization. Last season, in our sixth season, there were 40 teams. Already 30 + teams have been signed for this season. The Mighty Tenth Grade Lady Select RED.

Coach McCrae, along with Coach Kelly, (both Senior Atlanta Select coaches) have earned the title as Senior Atlanta Select Coach. They guide our young ladies toward achieving their goals in according with the programs of Atlanta Select organization.  We are proud of these coaches as they have been with the organization since its beginning seven years ago and have remained loyal and dedicated to help our young ladies achieve their dreams and goals. It is all about EXPOSURE with a little fun.

The Mighty Eleventh Grade Boys Team DIAMOND.

Coach Jason "JayBee" Brown will head the Mighty 1oth Grade Boys DIAMOND Team. He takes over from Coach Vincent who lead the team the last two seasons. Coach Jaybee has been with the organization for 4 years as an assistant coach and has proven that he is ready to lead. Coach Vincent will serve as his assistant. The Mighty Eleventh Grade Boys Team WHITE.

The Mighty Eleventh Grade Boys Team SILVER

Coach Copeland believes in providing his team EXPOSURE. He will lead the Mighty Eleventh Grade Boys SILVER Team this season. The Mighty Eleventh Grade Boys Team PRIME.

The Mighty Eleventh Grade Boys Team BLACK.

Coach Dionne Mason won a national championship in 2010 (YBOA) and was selected Coach of the Year for that season. The Mighty Eleventh Grade Boys Team PLATINUM.

Coach Randy Foster returns to coach the Mighty Eleventh Grade Boys PLATINUM Tea. He took a year off to take care personal issues but seeing how successful he was in delivering most of his 2010 team to qualify and accept college scholarships he decided to come back and try it again. He has a successful record and we are confident that he will be very successful again.

The Mighty Twelfth Grade Boys SILVER Team.

Coach Dejuan Payton. Coach Payton Team last season won the championship in every tournament in which he participated. He won the national NASBA championship. Congratulations. Coach Marco Williamson coached a 10th grade team last season and assisted the 11th grade PLATINUM team at the AAU nationals last season. He training youth at the South Dekalb YMCA and will be getting started with AAU in a few weeks. The grade he will be coaching will be announced soon. Coach Carla Holloway returns to Atlanta Select after a one year tour with another organization. She was extremely successful as an Atlanta Select and we are glad to have her back. Coach Kevin Morris will coordinate participation in the "Big Shots" tournaments. He will provide advice and contacts and may take a select group of student athletes on the tour this Spring.

Coach OJ Warfield, an apprentice under Coach Baskerville, and the first Atlanta Select student athlete (2006) that is ready to take on head coaching responsibilities. An announcement will be made soon.

Coach Eugene Sanders has the designation as a Senior Atlanta Select coach. He will advise and assist as need be this season.

Coach Jarret Brown is the proud new father on a baby born last month. He is taking a little time to reassess his duties and responsibilities. We do know that he will be standing by to assist as need be. The highlight of last season for him was winning the Brand Jordan championship. We will hear from him soon.

The Chief Operations Officer for Atlanta Select is Coach George Zeigler, Coach Z. He and Coach Hill found the Atlanta Select in October 2005. Since that time he has retired from active coaching but serves as the glue to keep the organization together. It is with the help of all the coaches mentioned above along with the assistant coaches, parents and student athletes of Atlanta Select that make this organization run successful and stick together. <SYNERGY>.
